The Montana Energy Forum is a community of citizens and partners committed to improving
our understanding of, and support for, the tremendous opportunities presented by the
Bakken formation and the development of oil and natural gas resources in our state.

Our goal is to be a resource for information and energy issues to further educate ourselves
to ensure our elected officials create sound energy policies that continue to promote jobs,
our strong Montana economy and energy security.

America will still require traditional energy sources (e.g., oil, natural gas, coal) for decades
to come, even with renewable energy sources and technologies. So, join the Montana
Energy Forum to pursue sound, fact-based legislation and solutions that include conservation, r
enewables and traditional energy sources.
